How we handle your data in the ElevateTogether app

This Privacy Policy explains how LTF Technologies, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use ElevateTogether (the "App"), a fitness and sports networking platform that connects athletes with trainers, photographers, and videographers.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
- Profile Information: Information you add to your profile, such as your bio, skills, sports interests, profile photo, and portfolio content.
- Location Data: Your city or area to help match you with nearby professionals or clients. We collect approximate location based on your input or device location if you grant permission.
- Photos and Videos: Media you upload to your profile or portfolio. These are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
- Communications: Messages you send through our in-app messaging system.
- Payment Information: When you make or receive payments, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive transaction details (amount, date, status) for booking records.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration, crash logs, and performance data.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store tokens to send you booking updates, messages, and relevant alerts.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide Services: Enable you to create profiles, search for professionals, book sessions, and communicate with other users.
- Process Payments: Facilitate secure payments between athletes and service providers through Stripe.
- Send Notifications: Alert you about bookings, messages, and important account updates.
- Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.
- Safety and Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: Your profile information (name, bio, portfolio, reviews) is visible to other users to facilitate connections and bookings.
- Service Providers:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database (Firestore), cloud storage, and analytics.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Apple Push Notification Service: For delivering push notifications.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored using Firebase services (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Authentication) hosted in the United States.
- We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
- Payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
- While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
- We retain your account data as long as your account is active.
- Booking and transaction records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax purposes.
- You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Your Rights below).
- Some data may be retained in anonymized form for analytics.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can view and edit your profile information in the app at any time.
- Delete Account: You can request account deletion by contacting us at support@ltftechnologies.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required for legal retention.
- Location: You can disable location permissions in your device settings.
- Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings or in the app.
- Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
ElevateTogether is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.
Users between 13 and 18 years of age may require parental consent depending on their jurisdiction. Parents or guardians may contact us regarding their child's data.
International Users
ElevateTogether is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to know what personal information is collected, used, and shared.
- Right to delete personal information.
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective date" at the top and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
